Located on E. Wacker Dr. between 'The River Hotel' and 'Ocean Prime'. We walked in here on this busy Saturday morning and were seated immediately. They have outside and inside seating with a full sized bar. We tried their 'Croissant Sandwich' and 'Land Benedict' with a side of toast and coffee. Food tasted amazing, and coffee was fresh, such a satisfying breakfast. We were very impressed with the staff here. Everyone we encountered was super friendly and attentive. The manager, 'Tim', was working just as hard as the servers. He made sure to check up on us and keep our coffee cups filled. Shout out to our server, 'Montrell', who was extremely attentive and often checked on us also. Although it was very busy, they seemed to be super organized. This is a sign of excellent management. Overall, we had an awesome breakfast experience here and will definitely return while in town.

Here's a review based on your experience: Land & Lake at London House: A Solid Downtown Spot (But Bring Your Wallet) Recently, we dined at Land & Lake, nestled within the London House hotel in downtown Chicago, and came away with a generally positive experience. The location is a definite plus, being conveniently close to the Riverwalk, making it a great option for those exploring the city. Our meal consisted of a classic burger (18) and their fried chicken sandwich, both accompanied by a generous portion of fries. For drinks, we opted for a glass of red wine (14) and, notably, their bottomless mimosas (22), which is an excellent value for those looking for a brunch-style experience. The service was a highlight. Our server was friendly, attentive, and always wore a smile, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. The final bill, including tips, came to around 100, which reflects the restaurant's pricing. It's safe to say Land & Lake leans towards the pricier side, especially considering the casual fare. However, the quality of service and the prime location partly justify the cost. A few points to note: parking is limited to valet, which can add to the overall expense. While the restaurant was busy, it didn't feel overly crowded, and the atmosphere was comfortable. Pros: * Excellent location near the Riverwalk. * Friendly and attentive service. * Great value on bottomless mimosas. * Good food quality. Cons: * Pricy menu. * Limited parking (valet only)

My best friend and I sat at the bar for breakfast with Johnny and he was an absolute doll. I've been in the hospitality industry on and off my whole life and he's one of the rare ones you come across that really make the customers feel seen and important. I cannot say enough good things about him and his service. He was simply outstanding! He's the type that make you want to revisit a restaurant/bar! We will definitely be back. Thank you, Johnny!!- Lauren- Atlanta

Jhony took very good care of us. Very attentive to our drink refills and offered a to go soda. The for was delicious! No wait when we arrived. I thought we'd surely be on a wait list bring downtown on a Sunday but we were seated quickly. The music in the restaurant was a tad too loud with the booming bass, but otherwise very nice atmosphere.
